India’s largest vehicle maker, Tata Motors expects sales of its sports utility vehicles to rise by 60 percent to 4.000 units a month, following the introduction of an upgraded version of its Sumo model. On Monday the company had launched the Sumo Grande MK II which will replace the Grande MK I and will cost around Rs 25K lesser than the outgoing model at Rs 6.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Rajiv Dube, head of the passenger vehicle division said that they are currently selling between 2,500 to 3,000 utility vehicles and expect it to increase by 1,000 vehicles a month.

On Monday the company had launched the Sumo Grande MK II which will replace the Grande MK I and will cost around Rs 25K lesser than the outgoing model at Rs 6.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
