Toyota Venza 2009

Toyota VEnza! a car that was released in 2009 has become so popular in the past couple of months. Its a totally new car with a different shape and has a great overall rating. HOW? Why is that every time toyota or nissan brings out a new model it becomes so popular and they manage to sell millions in the first year. I mean not that i dont like it but how?
