Volkswagen has started sales Golf R and Scirocco R

German concern Volkswagen has begun deliveries to the official dealers of two new models — Golf R and Scirocco R which sales will start to be carried out in the nearest week-end in territory of Germany.

Volkswagen Scirocco R & Volkswagen Golf R

Sports cars Volkswagen Golf R and Volkswagen Scirocco R are completed with 4-cylinder 2-l turbo-engine TSI. Power of the engine of hatchback Golf R makes 265HP, and power-plant Scirocco R is weaker on 5 units. Both cars are capable to be dispersed to 250 km/h.

All-wheel drive Golf R, equipped transmission DSG, accelerates about 100 km/h of all for 5,5 sec. The average expense of fuel on 100 km of a way does not exceed 8,5L. In Germany cost of a hatchback which begins to be offered as in three — and a five-door body, is expressed in the sum €36,400.

Volkswagen R: Golf & Scirocco

Scirocco R will manage to the potential buyer hardly more cheaply — in €33,475. As it is informed in the official press release, the car with a forward drive has at least one advantage before Golf R is an expense of fuel. On 100 km in the mixed cycle the motor on the average consumes 8L of fuel.

Both novelties have received special package R-Line into which 17-inch disks have entered, the new bumpers, the modernised back spoiler, the blacked out lattice of a radiator, sports seats, pedals and a wheel. And for Golf R light-emitting diode headlights are still provided also.
